This location found in southeastern Oregon is famous for producing some of the finest and most interesting Plume Agate worldwide. Its typical colors of rich amber, gold, tan and white make this readily identifiable as a product of this locale. Occasionally certain stones like this specimen will show some beautiful blue agate areas. This is a color not widely seen in this Plume Agate variety. Most pieces from this location are rather small, and are usually cut into cabochons for jewelry. I for one have cut many such stones. To find such a fine specimen of this quality and size is truly a treasure for the collector. We are proud to be able to offer such a remarkable stone in this creation.
