The stories that I can carry on to my children and grandchildren are memories that my father has growing up as a child. His vivid memory of his first home as a child was living in a boxcar along the river in Heringron, Kansas. They didn’t live in the boxcar very long because my grandfather moved the family to the big city of Kansas City, MO, where my grandfather began working for the railroad. Thus their journey began in establishing their roots.
